• HOW DOES THIS PROCESS WORK?

  Applicants may apply via phone (9 to 5 EST) with dedicated represented. An online, mobile friendly, Bilingual, application will be available 24/7.

  • *Applicant will provide payment by credit or debit card. One Hour Authority does not accept Checks or EBT.
  • *LLC application will begin with name availability and reservation. You will provide 3 name choices on the application. Your first name choice may not be availible. If the sencond and third choices are not availible One Hur Authority will contact you for additional options.
  • *Once the LLC name is reserved One Hour Authority will begin application for the LLC acting as your agent
  • *USDOT and Federal MC number will be obtained. Generally, One Hour Authority will forward to you, via email, the USDOT and MC number within 1 hour of receiving approval of LLC name.
  • *The applicant will be then notified to contact their insurance carrier to file the BMC91, proof of Insurance. A minimum of $750,000 of BIPD insurance is required.
  • *BOC 3 filed with FMCSA. One Hour Authority, operating as 1 Hour Process Agents LLC, is a Federal Motor Carrier Association registered agent of process. The BOC 3 is provided with no annual fees or additional charges.
  • *Application for CA Number will be forwarded to the California Highway Patrol. The California Highway Patrol will forward the CA Number to the applicant via US Mail. Expect five day turn around.
  • *Once the BMC 91 insurance and BOC 3 are BOTH filed with the FMCSA a mandatory 10 waiting period will start. Typically, One Hour Authority will produce a FMCSA Certificate of authority in 10 to 14 days from the start of the mandatory waiting period. The Certificate will be emailed to you on the same day that authority is granted.
  • *You will need to notify One Hour Authority of your CA number on day it is received, via US Mail, from the California State Patrol. Once CA Number is received California Motor Carrier Permit application will be submitted. Expect 10 – 15 turnaround.

  The goal will be a 21 day completion of all procedures. One Hour Authority cannot accept responsibility of application processing times of State and Federal Agencies. One Hour Authority cannot accept responsibility of inaccurate information provided by the applicant.

  Pricing is based on two catagories: Intrastate or Interstate. The Intrastate(Trucks that never leave the state) fee is $1,221.00.
